Chang Gung Health and Culture Village was opened in 2005 by Formosa Plastics Group founder Wang Yung-Ching. It is a large-scale senior village near Gueishan in Taoyuan County, established to help meet the needs of Taiwan’s rapidly ageing population. Chang Gung Health and Cultural Village offers in-house social workers, nursing care, and a variety of social and leisure activities which provide seniors with a great environment to enjoy their life there.
The Suang-Lien Elderly Center is established by the Suang-Lien Presbyterian Church. The centre, which comprises of the dementia eldercare division (Unit Care), elderly community college, eldercare research center, community caring station, home care, mission center and so on, was build in response to the rapid growth of the population of elderly citizens in Taiwan, The centre, located near both mountains and beaches, provide a surrounding with beautiful scenery, peace and tranquillity, and is around 432,000 square feet in size. In addition to the resident’s rooms, there are facilities such as a church, dining halls, a library, classrooms, beauty shops, and rehabilitation stations.
