The Huaxing Group was registered by the Australian Government of NSW in order to better integrate overseas Chinese cultural resources rally talents and establish platforms. The Huaxing Group, held a grand opening ceremony at the Opera House a few days ago. It was a night illuminated brilliantly with lights and assembled with distinguished guests, including Homart Managing Director – Ms. Lynn YEH, 30 or more heads from the Arts Group, principals of various dancing academies, and various famous cultural and art figures. The audience enjoyed a night with three categories of performance: Collection of Classic, Ethnic Glamour, and Cultural Inheritance.
The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office’s main role is to handle overseas Chinese Affairs. So far the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office has set up 4 Huaxing Groups in New York, Houston, Toronto, and Sydney. It aims to set up another 50 more groups so that the overseas Chinese would have their talents and hard work recognised and integrated. They also wish to carry forward the Chinese culture into the areas they set up office.
